Paris has been writing music and singing since she was very young. Born in NJ and raised in Redmond Washington, her first public performance was at the age of 4 in front of a crowd of 250 people. At 7 She performed at The Triple Door with Bernadette Bascom in “A Gospel Supper” Christmas Program. She also performed an impromptu performance with recording artist Dwele , also at the Triple Door. At 9 years old, she won the Reflections Art contest for the state of Washington for her original song Sunshine and has been singing and writing ever since.
She has taken both Piano and Guitar lessons and studied vocal with Lynn Broyles (Adam
Lambert – Grammy nominated recording artist and season 8 American Idol finalist ) Bernadette Bascom (Recording Artist and Vocal Coach to Americas Got Talent semifinalists The Eriam Sisters ) of Seattle.
Paris began acting and vocal coaching in Washington and went on to perform in the ensemble of Andrew Lloyd Weber’s Whistle Down the Wind at the 5th Avenue Theatre. After a move to San Diego, Paris then moved on to lead roles at the historic Lyceum Theatre as “Dorothy” in The Wiz, “Belle” in Beauty and the Beast and “Cat in the Hat” in Seussical with Broadway Bound Youth Theatre.
Paris has been selected to attend Songwriter and Vocal Performance summer programs at Berklee School of Music and Cornish School of the Arts. Most Recently Paris was selected to participate in More Music at the Moore Seattle’s premier program for the region’s top young talent. This program featured Sheila E as musical director and mentor to the young artist. As a part of this program, Paris was featured on the morning TV show New Day with Sheila E.
Additionally Paris was selected to be 1 of 10 Songwriters to participate in the Grammy Foundations’ LA Grammy Camp. This program was held at USC Thornton School of Music and allowed the participants an opportunity to work up close and personal with successful music professionals.
Paris continues to perform, share her original songs and use her vocal instrument to share songs with audiences in the greater Washington area and beyond.
